Daniel 8 & the 6th trump

Friday, July 22nd, 2011

First I want to thank Audra in Robert’s FB group for bringing up this topic.  It has caused me to delve further into Daniel 8 than I ever have before.  This chapter reveals/overlays Rev. 8-9, 13, which is the 6 trumps of Revelation.

Daniel 8:1      In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.

about 551 BC (after Jehoiachin’s and Ezekiel’s 37 yrs of captivity), and Daniel was 70 yrs. old at the giving of this prophecy.

Dan 8:3         Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

The RAM here is symbolic of the seedline of Jacob (all 12 tribes) from Gen. 22:13.   Horns are symbolic of power, and since Great Britain’s power came first, it is the first horn, and America, which came along later, but more powerful is the second horn.

Dan 8:4         I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.

The Ram did push westward indeed, and north and south etc., etc.  Hence the mighty and powerful nation of America.

Dan 8:5    ¶    And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.

The he-goat is Iran, and those countries who ally with them.  They don’t touch the ground (like flying locusts), and when all those countries in the middle east unite, they become that notable horn, or just one power.  It is forming before our very eyes.

Dan 8:6         And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.

Dan 8:7         And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.

Now, they consider us the great satan, hence they are “moved with choler” against the ram.  This might be an event similar to Nixon’s scandal, might happen to the current leader in chief of the RAM.  This event might be yet to happen, or it might be symbolic of 911.  I don’t know yet.

Dan 8:8         Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.

Note here, that the he-goat, the locust army will “become” strong, and just then their great horn was broken.  I believe this is the wounding of the 1st political beast of Revelation 13:3.  Now immediately after the wound, came up “4 notable ones” pointing towards the 4 winds of heaven.

Now the 4 “notable ones” came up and “pointed” toward the four winds of heaven.  You might say the word “pointed” is not there, and  in English it is supplied.   When I say supplied, I mean that without the prepostion “toward” then the sentence doesn’t make sense:

…and for it came up four notable ones [toward] the four winds of heaven.

“toward” is not there in the Hebrew either, but a preposition is needed  to explain what the 4 notable ones did in relation to the 4 winds.

Before I explain further I’m going to quote Rev. 9, THE 6TH TRUMP , in hopes you can see the same what is happening by two different writers separated by hundreds of years.

Rev 9:13 ¶ And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

Rev 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Visually, I picture a cobra snake rearing up in defiance against God, and these 4 “notable” ones are none other than the 4 bad angels bound in the great river.

So now going back to Daniel 8:8,   we see in English the word “toward”.  If you had a septuagint (http://classic.net.bible.org/verse.php?book=Dan&chapter=8&verse=8  )   you could find the word eis, 1519 in the Greek right before “the four winds of heaven”.

You may be asking why this little preposition even matters, but when supplied in the English, we get a better picture of what these 4 are really doing, and even where they are from (another place).

eis – a prepostion governing the acccusative and denoting entrance into, or direction and limit; it is used after the verb in Dan. 8:8 which is “coming”   :

A. Properly

I. Of PLACE, after verbs of going, coming, sailing, flying, falling, living, leading, carrying, throwing, sending.

1. of a place entered or entrance into a place.

a. it stands before nouns designating an open place, a hollow thing, or one in which an object can be hidden.
, of a demon entering the body of a man Mark 9:25

b. before names of cities, villages, and countries
c. elliptical expressions
d. eis means “among” before nouns comprising a multitude or before persons.

2.  If the surface only of the place entered is touched or occupied, to mark the limit reached or where one sets foot.

3. Of motion (not into the place itself, but) into the vicinity of the place; where it may be rendered to, near, towards.

II. of  Time

1. it denotes entrance into a period which, is penetrated as it were, i.e. duration through a time.

2. of the time in which a thing is done; because he who does or experiences a thing at any time is conceived of as, so to speak, entering into that time; in their season Luke 1:20

3. of the (temporal) limit for which anything is or is done Rev. 9:15 “were prepared FOR (eis)”

B. Used Metaphorically -

I.  Retains the force of entering into anything.

1.  Where one thing is said to be changed into another, or to be separated into parts

2. After verbs of going, coming, leading, eis joined to nouns designating the condition or state into which one passes, falls, etc.

3.  It is used of the business which one enters into, i.e. of what he undertakes: to take up and carry on a labour begun by another John 4:38 Rev. 9:9 (locust army, running TO (eis) battle)

II.  After words indicating motion, direction, or end.

1.   It denotes motion to something, after verbs of going, coming, leading, calling etc.

2.  Of ethical direction or reference

a. univ. of acts in which the mind is directed towards, or looks to something; to swear with the mind directed towards

b. for one’s advantage or disadvantage

…………there’s more but I think you can get the idea here………..

These 4 horns are entering a new place, for they WERE bound in the great river, but at that one moment they will be freed and put upon the earth where they can claim their new territory and pick up where the locust army left off.  They certainly direct their angst towards the 4 horns of the great altar of God.

This places the deadly wound immediately before the 6th trump ( arrival of satan and the 4 notable ones bound in the great river).

Dan 8:9    ¶    And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

A sign unto thee!

This page is copied from Adam Rutherford’s Bible Chronology.  Hezekiah represent the FAITHFUL people at a time when an apostate (Sennacherib) was boasting to be better than Hezekiah’s God.  Isaiah 37:30 is the prophecy Isaiah gave regarding this event.

This was a type of the coming tribulation (where satan pretends to be Christ). In that time where WE (the elect) weep for these things, we will soon after reap joy.

This verse/sign by Isaiah is mentioned here:

Psa 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Psa 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

We also see mention of this same SIGN in Psalm 128:

Psa 128:2         For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee

The Elect bear that precious seed of truth!  Praise the Lord, it will be reaped in joy.

This can also be compared to the “field” Jesus spoke of that we will be working in, until He returns.

Mat 20:2         And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

And so we work, in the field, not knowing when the “day” will end, and we receive our reward, but working and sowing all the day until it is done.

Now this sign is given to HEZEKIAH, which means in Hebrew YAH strengthens me.  So if YAH is not the source of your strength, then this is not the word of prophecy for you. There are others who are working pretty hard in ANOTHER field.  They are sowing seeds too, but they sow in VAIN (Lev. 26:16).

Zechariah has a little message and really really BIG SIGN for them to read.

Please NOTE that this sign is not just for those living on the half of the world where the middle East is located, but the WHOLE earth both in Jerusalem and the Americas! The prophecy is complete, therefore we don’t need ANY other prophets!

Micah speaks of this contemperous sign.   It is given along side the good sign for Hezekiah above, but has disastrous implications for the subjects thereof:

Mic 6:15         Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.

And spoken of again by Amos, the prophet:

Amos 5:11         Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.

Heeding these signs, we learn to follow only the voice of ONE shepherd and we bear that precious seed of truth.  Not heeding puts us in the field where we can get TAKEN by the Flood of lies of satan, at the 6th trump.

Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Don’t be deceived by satan.

6th Trump Simplified

Saturday, July 16th, 2011

In a word, the 6th trump is: THE ARRIVAL OF SATAN, AS THE FALSE MESSIAH ON EARTH.

In Rev. 9:18  we see their power is in their MOUTH, that “kills” men.  This killing is a spiritual death because they worship satan instead of the True Christ coming at the 7th trump.

The book of Ezekiel is basically about the 6th trump, at least chapters 8-11, which are visions, and chapters 24-32 which is about the KING OF BABYLON.

The visions described in chapters 8-9 clarify for us that the abominations are occurring inside the supposed “house of God” (see Ezek. 8:16).  It is about WORSHIP, it is about RELIGION!  It is deception.

Ezekiel 9 describes the SPIRITUAL death of all those who don’t have the “seal of God” in their foreheads.  The mark of the beast therefore is  exactly what you know and who you plan to worship. see Ezek. 9:4

Just in case, anyone thought this trump was about things we do in the flesh, like make armies and have war, we need only to read Chapter 11 of Ezekiel which states rather emphatically that this is a SPIRITUAL DECEPTION.  SEE Ezek 11:1 where Jaazaniah (which means heard from God), son of Azur (Helpful), and Pelatiah (God has delivered), the son of Benaiah (God has built), PRINCES of the people!!  Watch out for these hooooly rollers!  They aren’t from God, God hasn’t spoken to them, delivered them, or built their churches!

Ezekiel is given a word from the Lord.  Chapter 24 starts to tell us about the coming KING of Babylon, which is the 6th trump, taking place, according to Ezekiel SEVEN YEARS after his first vision.  The destruction of the city took about 2 1/2 months, for the 4th month, there was a famine (2 Kings 25:3), and in the 5th month burnt the house of the Lord (2 Kings 25:8), and killed Gedaliah in the 7th mth on the 3rd day (2 Kings 25:25).  Gedaliah was a good man and kind, he even befriended Jeremiah (Jeremiah 26:24; 40:6).

So there you have the Biblical type in Ezekiel written clear as day that the King of Babylon comes at the END of 7 prophetic years and destroys Jerusalem 2 1/2 mths.   This ends the books of Kings completely because it typifies the 7th trump, the release of Jehoiachin in the few words “and it came to pass”.

We know from Ezekiel that the power that comes out of those evil angels in Rev. 9:18 is indeed lies because Ezekiel 24:12 explains that the bloody city is overcome with lies.

Chpt. 27 compares this the lies of satan to a great and mighty ship.  This ship looks beautiful to the eyes Ezek 27:3,4, 5.  They have taken cedars of Lebanon for masts, which means the people of God are driving the ship, but this isn’t God’s ship!  It is satan’s ship. See Ezek 27:13, where they even trade for slaves.  These ships are making profits for themselves and they don’t represent God, even though our people (thinking they do right) caulk the ship! see Ezek 27:9.

God will BRING this ship down in an instant.  See Ezek 27:26, where the east wind (hurricane) destroys the ship.  The “suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of the pilots.” ( Ezek 27:28) In other words their sermons will say “Babylon the great! is fallen is fallen!” Rev. 18:2  parallels Ezek 27:30

Ezek 28:2 tells us what LIES satan will be saying, namely that he (satan) is Christ come to rapture us all away, which again brings us back to which trump of Revelation?  TRUMP 6, simply satan.

Chapter 30 declares again satan will be deceiving by his mouth of lies Ezek. 30:5, the elect are going to prophesy (see Ezek 30:9) in  that day coming, when the King of Babylon gets here for 2 1/2 mths, as stated in Revelation 8:1, 2 Kings 25:3, 8, 25,  and Ezekiel 30:10, which describes satan ( the King of Babylon gives this type).

In Ezekiel 30:24  we are given the type of the deadly wound of the beast system (pictured here as Egypt) and mentioned in Rev. 13:3.  Note the time here is the LAST of 7 years Ezek 30:20, so the deadly wound will happen merely months before the King of Babylon arrives.

So says Ezekiel.

6th trump = satan’s arrival, as fake messiah

be warned, don’t be fooled.

I Corinthians 15

Saturday, July 9th, 2011

God’s Word has a unique quality, that gives perfect division of a topic.  This quality of beauty comes from observance of how things are said.  Simply observing these characteristics of Scripture can help Dis-mantle false doctrine.  Many doctrines claim to have the “mantle” of truth from God above, but when they clash with the written word, the supposed mantle falls and crumbles to the ground.

We have a beautiful example of this in I Cor. chpt 15.   It is structured so that nothing may break down the truth it conveys.

MAIN SUBJECT:  the nature of man & the need for resurrection

Questions answered:

What is man’s normal state of being?

What kind of body is the flesh?

Is an apostle a “god”?

What is man’s final destination?

How does God correct man’s nature?

QUOTATIONS & References:

Quotations bring light from other passages of Scripture into the discussion presented by Paul. References are verses/passages that Paul referred to that the Scripture student would recognize and bring into the discussion to assist in proving Paul’s point.

STRUCTURE:

vv. 1-11 Apostleship asserted and claimed (note that Paul barely considers himself an apostle, albeit he is THE apostle sent to the gentiles  Acts 13:47 unto the END of the earth, which would be ALL future genereations of Israel and gentiles since there is no difference between them Romans 10:12,18; 15:20)

vv. 12-58 Claim established by his doctrinal teaching

12 Objection 1 Cor. 15:12 is the Main point…Christ was resurrected

13- 19 The answer (an example of logical reasoning, similar to a geometric proof If ….then)

20-28 Resurrection is certain because Christ is raised

29-32  Present conflict to no purpose, if Christ be not raised

33-34 Exhortation

35 Objections

36-41  Answer

42-49  Resurrection is certain because Christ is raised

50-57  Victory worth all present conflicts

58 Exhortation

When interpreting this chapter, one must understand what the objection is in verse 12.  Basically if Christ wasn’t resurrected then we are a bunch of dupes who have no hope at all, and might as well be DEAD (even though we are physically alive).

This is exactly what 1 Cor. 15:29 is saying.

Ever heard the phrase “dead man walking”?  That is the exactly the thought here, continued in verse 30, “Why stand we in jeopardy every hour?”.   Because in Acts 19:27 it is stated that false gods will come to nought.

The thought repeated AGAIN in 1 Cor 15:31 “I look death in the face practically every day I live. Do you think I’d do this if I wasn’t convinced of your resurrection and mine as guaranteed by the resurrected Messiah Jesus? ”

Let’s repeat the SAME thought AGAIN (for the 4th time!) in 1 Cor 15:32 “what does it advantage me if the dead rise not?”  then a QUOTE from the OLD TESTAMENT to draw from that Scripture passage will give us a 5th repetition of this point, and since 5 means grace, if we absorb all 5 as the truth that resurrection is sure then we have GRACE bestowed upon us, but if you miss one repetition then you miss the truth and you miss the GRACE.   The quote is from Isa. 22:13, where the analogy is fully elaborated.

The next section discusses the flesh body and the spirit body, which God made them both Luke 11:40.  The relationship of God to man here is NOT brother to brother, but Potter to the clay, both our flesh and our soul are made by the Potter.

The pot cannot make itself.

Psalms 100:3 Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

So this flesh body will DIE, and our inner man will come out of that old husky shell called flesh, which falls away, never to be used again.   Paul says this is a really simple concept here guys!  Even a cave-man could understand this ( to use a modern figure of speech).

The analogy is that within a seed is all the information to make a beautiful green seedling, that eventually matures into a full grown plant.   This is testified elsewhere in the Bible, that the chaff (the outter husky shell) will never be used again, or it outlasted it’s use and is blown away (Psalms 1:4), even so the those who cast away the LAW OF THE LORD  Isaiah 5:24 are burned like the chaff.  What is the chaff to the wheat?  obviously the chaff is nothing but useless (Jeremiah 23:28) so are vain prophesies.

1 Cor 15:40 is extends this same analogy of seed to plant, flesh to spiritual.  This is not some new revelation, never before revealed in Scripture.  It’s plain and simple that the “glory” of the celestial (spiritual) body is ONE THING and the terrestial body is quite another thing altogether.

Simply put the “glory” of the flesh is what you can see created by the hands of man here:

Mat 4:8    Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory1391 of them;

This is the first occurrence of  the  word “glory” (in Greek)! Hence, connecting the “glory” of the flesh world with satan!  Or things made by men, buildings, roads, transportation, and by summation CITIES.  Man’s glory.

The “glory” of the supernatural world is as different as a seed is from the plant.  Since we aren’t in that body yet, or that dimension, we cannot understand what it will be like.  But we do know God is LIGHT.

Does 1 Cor 15:41 state there are different kinds of LIGHT?  Simply no.  Does the moon have any light at all? no.  So the “glory” you have in the spiritual body is directly proportional to how much True Light you have.  You can be like a moon, with no light, or you can be full of God’s light like the stars.

These two verses do not introduce “levels of heaven or hell”, but merely the truth that another body exists, and that comes after the resurrection.    We need not insert new theologies that are unscriptural and distract from the simple truth of resurrection.

1 Cor. 15:42-44 Repeat and illustrate this same concept in different terms, so that it cannot be missed what is being said.

1 Cor. 15:45 Quotes from Gen. 2:7 expressing the difference between FLESH man and God’s soul in man.  God makes ALL men alive, but man in the flesh is unable to accomplish anything but flesh glory (cities).

Notice the contrast between the first Adam and the Last Adam is that of man vs. God. 1 Cor 15:47 says all men are earthy, but Jesus is from heaven.  The same argument in John 3:31    He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

It’s simple really.  God created our souls, put us in a flesh body, came to our world in the flesh to redeem us, and so one day we will be resurrected.  The difference has been made between flesh and spirit and between God and man.

1 Cor 15:49 restates the goal here.  Resurrection.  ”we shall also bear the image of the heavenly”.

1 Cor. 15:50 is the natural conclusion to all that has been said.

1Cor 15:50    ¶    Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

It can’t inherit it because the flesh goes back to the dirt, like the chaff it go “bye, bye”!

Eccl 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.

Eccl 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

1 Cor. 15:51 is really the grand conclusion to resurrection and prophecy put together!  Once you understand the simple truth of resurrection, we can then see how it will fit into prophecy of the final return of Christ at the 2nd advent.

Everything is explained because the “dead” are raised first (because they are already there with God) and then WE are changed in that blessed moment, the LAST trump  (trump # 7), repeated in 1 Thess. 4:16,17, which describes Christ’s return to the earth at the 7th trump.

This concludes in VICTORY “Death is swallowed up in Victory!” Isa 25:8 and Hos. 13:14

This is the same as

Psalms 68:20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.

We are to conclude:

1Cor 15:58    Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

(It is not in vain, hence back to vs. 29, we are not “walking dead men” but victors abounding in truth.)

Thank you Father for this Word of God and this simple 15th chapter of Paul’s.

The Bible witnesses God is One

Thursday, July 7th, 2011

Deut 19:15    One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

We have three witnesses in the Bible who had a personal encounter with God.  If we examine these encounters we see several things that confirm the Bible is true and God is one.

from these four witnesses each detail is confirmed at least three times MOSES -ISAIAH- EZEKIEL – JOHN

Exod 3:6, Isa 6:3 Eze 1:26   Rev. 1:13, 4:2 I AM the LORD thy God (only ONE entity), the LORD of hosts

Exod 3:2 Ezek 1:27 Rev 1:15 A Fire at his feet

Ezek 1:24 Isa 6:4 Rev. 1:15  A voice of many waters

Exod 24:10 , Eze 1:26, 10:1, Rev. 4:3  a paved work of sapphire/sardine stone

Ezek 1:28, Rev. 4:3  A Rainbow round about the throne Exod 24:15 (only mentions the cloud)  Isa 6:1 (train is the priest’s rainbow colored robe Exod 39:24)

Exod 32:15, Eze 2:10, Rev 5:1 The book written within and without (indicating the Bible itself and its completeness)

Isa 5:24, Mic 4:2, Psa 94:12 – Jesus (YAHshuah) prophesied to teach the Bible, as complete (plus historically 2 Chron 17:9)

Isa 6:6, Eze 10:2 – Rev. 8:5 – the censer filled with fire

Therefore based upon these witnesses, the matter of God’s identity is established.  He is only ONE entity, and the same God of the patriarchs and the prophets, and the disciples, and JOHN (the revelator).

Ezekiel’s 7 years

Wednesday, July 6th, 2011

This chart shows Ezekiel’s 7 years of warning Before the King of Babylon came at the very end of the 7 years.

The King of Babylon was a TYPE of satan in the Old Testament, so that we may know exactly what satan will do, and how he will arrive to the earth.  NINE chapters (24-33) are devoted to this coming Babylonian war alone (which might sum up to 3 1/2 yrs)

It is interesting to see nonetheless how Ezekiel coincides with Revelation, giving satan (the King of Babylon or confusion)  mere months to rule on the earth.

Establishing WHO-All flesh

Eze 20:48         And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.

Eze 20:49         Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?

(Hint:  above this is a parable, where trees represent people)

Eze 20:46  Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;

Eze 20:47  And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.

Eze 21:7         And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.

WHAT – The sword

Eze 21:5         That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.

WHEN – The tribulation

Eze 21:11         And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.

Eze 21:12         Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon My people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.

WHERE – Earth (Satan arrives in Israel)

Eze 21:3         And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I AM against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

WHY –  Eze 21:13         Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD.

What is God made of?

Tuesday, July 5th, 2011

Remember a little ditty about what little girls are made of?

Sugar and spice
and everything nice
that’s what little girls are made of

Sunshine and rainbows
and ribbons for hair bows
that’s what little girls are made of

Tea parties, laces
and baby doll faces
that’s what little girls are made of

What we are saying here is, that what little girls do (have tea parties) and how they generally behave (nice) is an analogy meaning they are so consistent in these things, that we might say they are “made” of them.   This analogy is also used in the Bible of God Himself!  It might go something like this:

Righteousness and greatness
and everything good
that’s what Yah is made of

Sunshine and rainbows
and glory from above
that’s what Yah is made of

Salvation, redemption
and worthy of praises
that’s what Yah is made of

The name YAH connotates exactly what God subsists of, that is He is so consistent in these actions, that He might be Salvation itself.

We can know we are saved if we know the name YAH (no “J” in Hebrew)

Psa 68:4         Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol Him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before Him.

Ps. 54:1  Save me, O God, by Thy name, and judge me by Thy strength.

which is why it is necessary to proclaim the name of the Lord:

Ps. 22:22 I will declare Thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

So here we have the first occurrence of this particular name for God : YAH!

Exod 15:2         The LORD (YAH) is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare Him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

The Word “become” in Hebrew is HaYah, which means “to be” (or the condition of being), and the name formed from it is “He who is, or rather He is.”

In Psalms we are introduced to God’s name “Yah” in chpt 68.  Verse 1 we are shown that God (Elohim) will arise.

Ps. 68:1     Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered: let them also that hate Him flee before Him.

Psa 68:4    Sing unto God, sing praises to His name: extol Him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before Him.

We see a God here squashing His enemies and rising above it all in Glory.

Psa 68:5         A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in His holy habitation.

Our heavenly Father has a “holy habitation”, or a throne-room.  He has only shown this place to very few people of the earth, but Ezekiel and Moses saw Him there, and heard the voice of YAH, the one and only God.

Psa 68:8         The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

Psa 68:11         The LORD gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

We have here a simple explanation of what happened to Moses and Ezekiel.  The LORD God (YAH Elohim) gave them the WORD!  Here the word for LORD (shown by all caps) is a different name for the same God, that is to say Jehovah (Yahaveh in Hebrew).

Psa 68:14         When the ALMIGHTY scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

This is another TITLE for God (like Elohim is a title, not a name).  In Hebrew it is El-Shaddai and always translated “ALMIGHTY” (In caps)This is the what  God chose to describe Himself to Abraham.  It really means “all-bountiful One”, whom we can depend upon to supply all our need, and one full of power/force to accomplish anything that we need.

This is the God  who people  usually  pray to when they are in danger of death.  They need  strength and power, all characteristics of the one and the same God named YAH.

Psa 68:16         Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.

God desires to set up His kingdom at Mt. Zion as confirmed here.

Psa 68:18         Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

This is an allusion to Christ!  As it is quoted in Eph. 4:8.  The Lord’s name here is YAH (He who IS).  He is prophesied here to die and rise again, and all the while HE IS.

The next two verses confirm God (Elohim), the ALMIGHTY Yah is indeed our Saviour.

Psa 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God (EL) of our salvation. Selah.

Yah is God’s name, and HE ALONE (singular) saves us.  EL is another title of God that describes the One who created every soul, and is therefore before man in every way (like time, strength, and power).

Psa 68:20 He that is our God (EL) is the God (EL) of salvation; and unto GOD the LORD (Jehovah) belong the issues from death.

The issue from death was conquered when Christ died and rose from the grave!  In that is also explained in the next verse:

Psa 68:21         But God shall wound the head of His enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

This prophecy again reminds us of Christ, also prophesied in Gen. 3:15 as wounding the head of satan.

Yah is also used with Jehovah (YaHaVeH) in Isaiah.

Isa 12:2

Behold, God (EL) is my salvation;
I will trust, and not be afraid:
for the LORD (Yah) JEHOVAH is my strength and my song;
He also is become my salvation.

We don’t need to guess who Jesus is because the name Jesus is YAH-shuah, which means (God (YAH) our Saviour).   In that we know YAH, our EL, we know our Saviour is indeed our God!  Our El-shaddai, the All-bountiful one:

who has all-sufficiency of wisdom to direct us
all-sufficiency of power to protect us
all-sufficiency of loving kindness and faithfulness to provide for us
all-sufficiency of grace to preserve us
and all-sufficiency of blessing treasured up in Christ the Head
for all the members of His body.

2 Cor 6:18         And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Phil 4:19         But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

A Scriptural poem of Jehovah’s greatness:

1Ch 29:11-13

11
Thine, O LORD,is the greatness,
and the power,
and the glory,
and the victory,
and the majesty:
for all that is in the heaven
and in the earth is Thine;
Thine is the kingdom, O LORD,
and Thou art exalted as head above all.

12
Both riches and honour come of Thee,
and Thou reignest over all;
and in Thine hand is power
and might;
and in Thine hand it is to make great,
and to give strength unto all.

13
Now therefore, our God, we thank Thee,
and praise Thy glorious name.

Amen!

There is a generation

Friday, July 1st, 2011

What is the prophecy regarding the last generation?  Christ said the last generation would be wicked.

Mat 12:45    Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the LAST state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

This generation is FULL of wicked SPIRITS.  The only exception is the FEW elect with the Spirit of truth within them.

Those who don’t have the Spirit of Truth will have the following characteristics.  They will curse those around them:

Pro 30:10    ¶    Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty.

Pro 30:11 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.

How simple this is!  Simply honoring your father and your mother (the 5th commandment) can place you in good standing with God!

Pro 30:12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

This seems to progress from departing from your parents, then to do that which is right in your own eyes, and not your parent’s eyes or even God’s eyes, the One who washes all your sin away.

Pro 30:13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.

Again they go away from the eyes of God and His Holy Spirit of truth, and have made themselves high and lifted up.

Pro 30:14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

The final stage here,  ”the LAST state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.” The words of Christ simplify the LAST stage of this generation is wickedness overwhelming their mind and thoughts. This should remind you of a terrible army, the locust army:

Joe 1:6         For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.

They are lead by satan himself until satan shows up as the false messiah, speaking more damning lies:

Rev 16:13    And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Prov. 30:10 tells us not to accuse the servant (those of satan).  But there are good servants out there!

Isa 41:8    ¶    But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

Those who serve Him are not high and “lifted up”, but regular people without “titles” and high positions in any church.  They are humble servants.

Isa 41:9         Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.

God’s Word covers the ENTIRE GLOBE.  We have no need of any other “scripture” for different areas of the earth; FOR, this Bible covers all of it, just as Christ confirmed to us when He came in the flesh to the earth.

Isa 41:10         Fear thou not; for I AM with thee: be not dismayed; for I AM thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Are you a person who is small in the world’s eyes?  Do NOT be afraid!  The Great I AM will strengthen you!  Just like the name Ezekiel (God strengthens).

Psa 22:30 A seed shall serve Him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

Psa 22:31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that He hath done this.

Continuing on with the subject of “this generation”, let’s see more confirmation of their wickedness.

Pro 30:15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:

Pro 30:16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.

Pro 30:17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.

There’s that 5th commandment again.  The beginning of wickedness is disregarding the words of your parents.   Remember what was written not only to “this generation” but also to the children of ISRAEL!  Beware!

Hsa 5:4         They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.

Note in proverbs the “horseleach” has two daughters.  The word is the same as a leech, blood sucker, also known as a feminine ghost.  Which means this evil spirit haunting the tribes of Israel is that one and the same “spirit of whoredoms” crying GIVE, GIVE.  They  want false doctrine.

Isa 30:10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

This is that same spirit that cries “give, give” because the Bible is not enough for them.  Even “fire” says it is not enough in Proverbs above.   Some might say it burns in their bosom to know the truth, but  This “spirit of whoredoms” also acts like the burning fire, wanting more “smooth things” and “deceits”.

This generation is shown to have many unclean things.

Isa 34:2       For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and His fury upon all their armies:

He hath utterly destroyed them, He hath delivered them to the slaughter.

Isa 34:8    ¶    For it is the day of the LORD’S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.

Note ZION is full of whoredoms.  Zion was God’s holy place!  That is where the word of the Lord was supposed to be found.  but nothing at all can be found there.

Isa 34:12         They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing.

Isa 34:11         But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and He shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.

The filthiness is magnified with all the dirty animals and stinging plants there:

Isa 34:13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.

Isa 34:14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.

Isa 34:15 There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.

The answer to all this whoredom and apostasy that “this generation” will see, particularly in the land where God’s Word should be found, is to read the Bible and find truth.

Isa 34:16    ¶   Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for My mouth it hath commanded, and His spirit it hath gathered them.

Ezekiel’s encounter with God

Wednesday, June 29th, 2011

Meet Ezekiel.

His name means El (God) strengthens.

Sometimes “man” claim to be prophets.  The Lord does NOT strengthen them, but contrariwise He allows them to be stupid:

Isa 29:10

For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes:

the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath He covered.

The LORD didn’t strengthen these seers!  He covered them up, hence they cannot SEE.  He covered them with lies like a flood!

The Moffatt Bible translation of Isaiah 29:9-11a

“Dazed shall you be, and amazed, blind shall you be, blind, fuddled– not with wine, reeling—not with liquor; for the Eternal has drenched you with stupor, closing your eyes and covering up your heads, till the sight of all this is to you no more than words in a sealed scroll.”

The prophet Jeremiah gives a similar analogy:

Jer 51:42         The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

God allows them to be “drenched with stupor” because that is what they want…no they demand it!

Isa 30:10    Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

Despite this flood of lies God sent us a prophet whom He strengthened!  When we listen to these words of God, we are also strengthened, meaning having the truth, we know the future (prophecy) and it is documented on a solid foundation, immovable.

Christ said:

Mar 13:23    But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you ALL things.

Where were these things foretold?

Jhn 6:45         It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God.

Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto Me.

All things are foretold in the prophets, Ezekiel being a prophet not only strengthened by God, but confirmed by Christ Yashua our LORD as having a true prophecy.

Now, let’s return to Ezekiel, God strengthens.  Ezekiel’s prophecy accurately pinpoints events occurring in the latter days (right before Christ returns).  God strengthens the truth of prophecy by giving it to Ezekiel first hand.

God comes down to earth on His throne and gives Ezekiel these words, so that no one can say it is a mistranslation.  The words are directly from God.

1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

Notice here the phrase “the heavens were opened….and I saw the visions of God.”

Which shows an actual physical thing was seen in the heavens.  The very fact that God visited Ezekiel on His own throne (the wheel within a wheel) will strengthen his prophecy like no other prophet on earth.

After the vehicle landed, Ezekiel gets to see what or Who was inside.

26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a Man above upon it.

God Himself sitting upon the throne.  Ezekiel describes the glory and splendor around Him:

27 And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.

28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of ONE that spake.

The God of Hosts, the Lord of lords has come to Ezekiel to give him the Word of God “on a platter” so to speak, making it therefore undeniably, the Word of God, true and correct without errors of translation.

Ezekiel’s prophecy about the coming “king of Babylon” was both historical and futuristic in nature.  It is a warning to all people that deception, in the form of satan himself (the spurious messiah) is coming to the earth to wholly deceive the people.

Therefore that makes this book of the utmost importance to our attention.  Here is a small chart of comparisons:

Eze 1:5,10,26,28 – Rev.4:2-7 - the Throne of God

Eze 3:3 – Rev. 10:9-10 – the eating of the Little Book

Eze 8:3 – Rev. 13:14 – the image

Eze 9:4-6 – Rev. 7:3 – the seal

Eze 10:1-8 – Rev. 8:1-5 – the censer filled with fire

Eze 38:2 – Rev. 20:8 – Gog and Magog

Eze 40 – Rev. 21 – the New Jerusalem Eze 47:1-12 – Rev. 22:1-2 – the River and the Tree of Life

This brings this ancient  (591 BC) prophecy up to the time of the end, and being the Word of God makes it more important than any words of any man alive today; for this prophecy contains the very words of the “little book” that is in God’s possession then, during John’s Revelation, and even today.

They are the words of the LIVING God, and nothing can be greater or have more import than God’s Words, especially not the words of some man, calling himself a “living prophet” today.  His words were not given by the mouth of God, as in Ezekiel’s case, therefore he will be like the seers referred to in Micah:

Mic 3:7    Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.

Just because the seers are “living” does not mean their prophecy can trump that of Ezekiel’s.

Just what kind of credentials did Ezekiel have?

3 The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the PRIEST, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was there upon him.

What evidence have we that he is indeed a priest?  It was given in verse 1.

1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

Not only is there a DATE given here that documents the year as  591 BC (verse 2)

2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin’s captivity,

but verse one gives us corresponding date of the “30th year”.  Scholars have wondered what this actually refers to, but Ezekiel was a “priest” and the priests were counting the years of the Jubilee (49 years apart).  Ezekiel was counting the years till the next Jubilee, and this is how he was reckoning time.

So what happened 30 years before this?  In short the “great Passover of Josiah”.  It started when God’s Word was found again:

2Ki 22:8    ¶    And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the Book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

2Ki 22:11    ¶    And it came to pass, when the king (Josiah) had heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes.

2Ki 23:3    ¶    And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.

2Ki 23:15    ¶    Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to powder, and burned the grove.

Josiah stopped all the sin and removed the idols.

2Ki 23:21 ¶ And the king commanded all the people, saying, Keep the passover unto the LORD your God, as it is written in the book of this covenant.2Ki 23:22 Surely there was not holden such a passover from the days of the judges that judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah; 2Ki 23:23 But in the 18th year of king Josiah, wherein this passover was holden to the LORD in Jerusalem. And there we have the Key to the time.  It was exactly 30 years later Ezekiel would begin his prophecy.

Ezekiel’s prophecy began in Zedekiah’s 5th year (or Jehoiachin’s 5th yr. of captivity in Babylon)

Zedekiah        5   years

Jehoiachin’s 3 mths. (2 Kings 24:6-8)

Jehoiakim    11 years (2 Kings 23:34,36)

Jehoahaz      3 mths (2 Kings 23:30)

Josiah           14 years counting back to the Great Passover ( 31-17 = 14 see 2 Chron 34:1)

__________________________

Brings us to the 30th year since last great Passover and Jubilee.

The Jubilees count all the way back to the Exodus in 1453 BC.

49 yrs x 17 Jubilees is 833 years in between.

1453 – 833 = 620 BC, Josiah’s Great Passover AND a Jubilee year.

This gives us an excellent background into Ezekiel’s knowledge as a priest, having thoroughly kept track of the calendar of Jubilees, he was then aware of the Old Testament and the covenant given therein.
