Forum Guidelines of the SHEPHERD'S DISCIPLES
For the members of the Shepherd’s Disciples Forum in order to provide a more perfect standard for a Bible Study Forum, with sharing of knowledge, established justice, and truth, as to insure domestic tranquility, provided for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty as Free Will to ourselves and our posterity,do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Shepherd’s Disciples Forum.
This Document provided forthwith, will be respected as the "Guidelines" on how this unique Forum will function and clearly outline what is required from each member. The Forum demands compliance of such Guidelines in order to insure individual member's rights are implemented and enforced.
We the Administrators of this forum hold the right to moderate, discipline, or promote a member as we so deem, without accountability. There will be no preference or deferential accommodations incurred due to any factor of discrimination.
The Shepherd’s Disciples Forum hold these truths to be self-evident, that all members are respected equally, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness in an environment of respect and fortitude.
That to secure these Rights, the Administrators of Shepherd’s Disciples are instituted among members, laying its foundation on such principles of protecting the Rights of its members who observe and facilitate the contents of this document.
These Guidelines that are to be implemented on this Board, shall be inclusive in the Articles of the Constitution of the Shepherd’s Disciples Forum and hereby enforced by the BRITe Team, who shall moderate any and all posts that are in doubt of meeting the standards set forth by this document.
Upon determination of any type of inappropriate or unacceptable behavior or forms of communication expressed, the BRITe Team has the full position of authoritarian to enact disciplinary actions according to the standards set forth and determine by the Team. Any decision made by them shall be deemed permanent and non-revocable.
First and foremost: We, as members of this forum do all agree and come together "Under One God, The Creator of All Things" and recognize that no one person is any better or closer to God than the other member. That all on this forum are equal Under God's Eye and that all shall be honored and respected equally.
This forum is striving to create an atmosphere where God Himself will delight to dwell within, and be proud of His children that partake of His Word. Exemplifying any behavior contrary to what our LORD would expect from His children will not be tolerated. For we are one Forum Under God!
Part One: The Forum
Article One: The Purpose of the Forum First and foremost, this is a Bible Study Forum, not a fellowship forum. The purpose of this forum is to bring students of our Father's Word together under Private Membership were they can share their knowledge and studies with others of the same like mindedness. It is of vital importance to insure that their path is straight and correct in the knowledge of God's Word, and/or to guide others into an understanding area of enlightenment.
All members must adhere to the doctrine that this forum is an open minded forum, and not closed when considering another's perspective. All points of views, that adhere to the Forum’s Guidelines/Rules, will be welcomed, considered and respected.
Article Two: The Forum Pledges This Forum Pledges to endorse the Guidelines/Rules of this Constitution the protection of each member’s well-being as a member from any attempt by another member to defame or degrade one in any way. As a member of this Forum, it is required that one respects and adheres to Part three: Article two. This forum has set up many protective features and monetary departments to insure posting security for its members. These departments will honor a strict code of standards set forth to be implemented without prejudice according to Part two: Article one.
Article Three: Forum Operation Any member that is invited onto the forum is free to browse, post, reply, and add messages to the Comments portion of profiles, so long as this is all done in good Godly taste. As a Christian, one should know in your heart what is appropriate and acceptable. If not, we have faculty in place to help you.
Most essential to participate in this Forum is to show appropriate respect to each individual member regardless of the situation. Disagree but never disrespect. Please note that SD will delete any postings which are rude, defamatory or prejudiced against age, sex, race, location or cultural background.
Information or opinions contained in any posts are the sole property of the poster and in no way is validated by or the reflection of the opinions of Shepherd’s Disciples. Use of any information on this board is done so AT YOUR OWN RISK. SD makes no warrants or claims regarding the validity of any information posted by users on this board nor do we review posts for accuracy of information. This board is monitored and we request that you please be respectful when interacting with our BRITe Team.
Any incidents beyond this will result in a possible permanent deletion of the user's account and will be decided upon by the discretion of the SD BRITe Team. SD also reserves the right to terminate privileges at will. Please follow the Guidelines/Rules carefully.
Part Two: Membership
Article One: Membership Profiles No member may have more than one profile for the soul purpose of deception; Dual Accounts. If a member is having difficulty with another member and wants to be unseen, that member may go to an Administrator and notify them of such problems. Each member is responsible for whatever information that is on their own Profile, whether posted there by them, or by another user.
Should there be a comment to your profile that is derogatory, immediately notify a Faculty member with the information. They will facilitate it to appropriate channels. It is important that you as a member do not engage with an abusive user and that you go straight to any of our staff. Failure to do so and engaging with them in an argument posted on the Forum, will put you at risk for being banned as well.
Article Two: Members ability Members have the right to come on the forum and browse wherever they want to with out the worry of someone harassing or badgering them. If this happens to any member it will be looked upon as their rights of the forum being infringed upon. Again, do not engage them if this happens to you, go to a Faculty member and report them.
Members have the right to post any Topic or Reply to any Post they see fit, that they have access to; with the assumption on their part that such posts are accurate and true, without harassment. Should this occur to any member, it will be deemed as an infringement upon the rights of that member. Again, do not engage the offending member; report the incident to the BRITe Team.
Members have the right to convey their open minded thoughts, but should use disclaimers such as, "These are my thoughts, this is my opinion, this is my understanding only!" This enables a member to post something that may not be completely documented and not invite their rights to be infringed upon. Just remember, this is an open minded forum and not an open MIC forum as there is a noteworthy difference.
Part Three: Faculty
Article One: The different Faculty Offices Administrators:Are to insure that the over all functioning of the Forum runs smoothly and that it maintains a sense of order, balance, and fairness. They are by no means the only decision makers as this Forum is based on a Democracy Platform with all departments working together to insure all guidelines are being met. They will submit any observance of behavior that is contrary to the Guidelines/Rules of this Constitution to the BRITe Team for evaluation and appropriate action to be administered.
BRITe: Are to insure that all posts and replies are accurate in there content of adhering to the teachings of Shepherd’s Chapel. They are to insure protection for any member from being scrutinized, persecuted, or bullied, in any way by any member or staff on this forum. Such incidents will be dealt with as deemed necessary. They will enforce the Constitution’s Guidelines/Rules by appropriate disciplinary action when needed at their discretion.
BRITe will work together as a Team evaluating any situation that has been brought to their attention. All renderings will be from a Team’s disposition and not by one individual, to insure fairness. Their decisions/actions will be considered to be permanent and irrevocable.
This Team was formed to insure that all Guidelines and Rules of the Forum are applied when deemed necessary. They are to represent the ideas of the members to the Faculty regarding how the forum should present its character regarding resources and functionality. They will also maintain Forum general documents such as the Constitution, Guidelines/Rules, miscellaneous, and edit or amend as necessary.
They will also provide an offer of guidance, comfort, or just someone to talk to. They also have the role of a mediator, or a “go between” for you and a member to offer assistance when needed. A Faculty member will stand with you and represent you should you feel the need for some help in this area, irregardless of needing to be defended or having been offensive. They are in a position of being an Advocate.

Part Four: Guidelines
Article One: Guideline Enforcement All of these Guidelines and Rules are to be followed by all members of the forum in regards to respect for the faculty and all other members, to insure each individual’s experience on this forum is a positive one. Failure to do so will result in a disciplinary action such as a written warning to possibly being banned from the forum.
Any disciplinary action will be issued at the BRITe Team’s discretion. Any of these rules/guidelines being breeched will result in one of the following being imposed:
1: Warning and/or put on the BRITe’s Team watch list. 2: Demotion, points taken away. 3: Disabling a member’s posting privileges. 4: Expelled for a length of time or indefinitely. 5: Removal of any/all posts concerning issue.
Article Two: Forum Rules and Guidelines NO OBSCENE LANGUAGE: This board is intended for family use. Please refrain from using any vulgar language that would offend someone else. Inappropriate words will be edited. This will be strictly enforced with a warning or termination.
NO OBSCENE MATERIAL: Please, no pornographic material or links to it. If it is not fit for family members, it is not fit for here. DON'T DO IT! SD has a 0 tolerance policy on this one. This will be strictly enforced with a warning or termination.
NO PERSONAL INSULTS OR ATTACKS : SD provides this site for our users to gather and discuss Biblical Topics in general. You are free to disagree with others, but if you stoop to personal abuse or attacks, your post(s) will be deleted. Examples of these are: bashing, name calling, accusations, mocking, degrading, stalking, threatening, gossiping, teasing, and arrogance, etc., towards another member. If you ARE insulted please report the post to the BRITe Team, but DO NOT retaliate. This will not be tolerated and will be strictly enforced with disciplinary action at the discretion of the BRITe Team.
NO TROLLING, FLAME WARS OR "TRASH TALKING": Trolling and/or attempting to bait others into a flame war will not be tolerated. Purposeful provoking will result in disciplinary action. Any posts we deem to fall in this category will be deleted. This will be strictly enforced.
POST IN THE APPROPRIATE FORUM: Please read each forum description before posting to ensure you are posting in the correct forum. Off topic posts will be moved to the correct forum.
NO DUPLICATE OR REPEAT POSTS: If no-one answers your question or responds to your post, please "bump" it rather than posting it again. Posting the same question over and over or in every forum will just annoy people and will not get answers.
NO ILLEGAL SUGGESTIONS: Respect the copyrights of other people, websites, software and printed media. Please no pointers, how-to-do’s, advocating any illegal activity. Posts will be deleted and the user warned or have privileges terminated.
NO SPAM: Do not use this site as a redirector or gateway to another site for the purpose of collecting click income or advertising. Although there are times when a link to another site is necessary for helping or answering a question, this site reserves the right to determine what is and is not SPAM. Any SPAM will be immediately deleted and the user warned or terminated.
PRIVACY: You must respect the privacy of other members and individuals. Do not post personal information (i.e. addresses, phone numbers, passwords, personal identification numbers, or any other information considered private) without the express permission of the individual. This will be strictly enforced.
Amendment I: The Ways of Korah
Let it be known that in regards to the events of Korah (Numbers 16), any member that may support, post, or solicit the belief of following those ways, will be banned without notice or hesitation. This practice is wholly unacceptable unto God and therefore will not be permitted in The Shepherd’s Disciples Forum.
